Rosie Black Labrador Retriever Mix Female 6 Years Old

Black Labrador Retriever

Meet Rosie, a 6-year-old female black lab mix.  Rosie was originally brought up from the south by a local animal shelter.  She was adopted and loved by her elderly owner until her passing.  Rosie is now looking for her new furever family.  Rosie would be best as an only dog, but she gets along well with cats.  She’s currently living with 3 of them!  She is a fantastic work from home companion and will spend her day laying nearby.  She could also be left for a work day.  She’s an easy-going girl.Black Labrador Retriever

Rosie enjoys walks and walks beautifully on a martingale collar.  She has started her weight loss plan and daily walks would be beneficial with that plan.  Rosie loves food, what lab doesn’t?! It will be important to keep up with her weight loss to get her to a healthy weight. Black Labrador Retriever

Rosie rides very well in the car and has even taken a road trip from Delaware to Minnesota without issue.  She is crate trained, but is also trustworthy out of the crate. She respects gates too.  She is house trained and spayed.  Even the vet commented that she is very sweet and easy to handle.  She is friendly and affectionate.

If you are looking for an overstuffed teddy bear to keep you company, then Rosie just might be your girl!
