Sassa Black Labrador Retriever Mix Female 4 Years Old
February 3, 2025
Hello….my name is Sassa and some things are happening with my mom, so I’m looking for a new home. Let me tell you a bit about me, and why I’d like you to think about me as a new addition to your family.
I’m 4 years old, and I’m a Black Lab mix. I’ve got that Lab tail that never stops wagging, and I’ve mastered that chin-on-the-ground move when I’m waiting for my human to do the next thing, I’m all love and cuddles, and I like to sleep in bed with my person. But somehow have 2 different color eyes – one blue and one brown. This really adds to my good looks and my charm.
And my coat is very shiny. I also have a higher energy level than your average 4-year-old Lab, so I need to be kept busy with walks, playtime in the yard, and puzzles and such in the house. We think that part of me might be Australian Shepard, a herding breed.
Anyway, I’ve done a lot of training with my mom, and she says I’m a very fast learner. We have this thing called a magic mat, and when she says for me to go there, I go and lay down and wait for something good to happen (usually treats appear when I lay there). When we are working on this game I like to do puzzles, like figuring out how to open them to find treats. There are a lot of other games that I’d like to learn, but my current Mom has only so many hours to play with me.
When I’m not cuddling with Mom I like to cuddle with our 2 cats.
And whenever I get a chance, like at the dog sitter’s house, I like to play with other dogs. Another one of my favorite things is when kids come over to visit. They are so fun, and they never seem to run out of time for playing.
I’m available for adoption now, so please hurry and get your application in.
