A summer afternoon of fun\, sunshine\, and wagging tails\, and your chance to meet some of our adoptable dogs in person. \nOne of the most common questions we hear is\, “Where can I meet your dogs?” This public meet‑and‑greet is your opportunity. Your future best friend might be waiting for you. \nWHEN:                Saturday\, August 1\, 2026 / 12–3 PM \nWHERE:              Sunset Farm (Tall Tails Training & Boarding) 3343 Friedens Road\, Slatington\, PA 18080 \nTo help our foster dogs shine\, WE ASK THAT ONLY BROOKLINE FOSTER DOGS ATTEND. This gives them the spotlight and lets you get to know their personalities up close. \nYou’ll find plenty to enjoy as you get to know some of our adoptable dogs: \n\nA DJ spinning some tunes for the day\, adding merriment to this event 🎵 🎶 🎶🎵\nShaded fields for leisurely walks\nPuppy pools and splash pads for cooling off\nAn agility park for fun and confidence building\nA fenced‑in speed zone for ball chasers and zoomie pros\n\nCheck back as we get closer to the event to confirm which foster dogs will be attending. DESCRIPTION:Duck Adoptions for the 4th Annual Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Virtual Duck Pluck are now open on our website at http://brooklinelabrescue.org/duck-pluck-fundraiser/. This virtual event will take place on August 23\, 2026\, at 1 pm and will be live-streamed on Brookline’s Facebook page.\n\n\n\nDon’t miss your chance to adopt a duck. There is no limit to the number of ducks you can adopt!\n\n\nSingle Duck $5\nQuack Pack 6 for $25\nQuakers’ Dozen 13 for $50\nFlock of Ducks 27 for $100\n\n\n\nAdopted ducks will be assigned a number (written on the bottom of each duck) and will go swimming during the event in Camp McGee’s in-ground swimming pool. Once the ducks have swum a few laps\, our duck patrol will wrangle them up and randomly pluck out winners for cash prizes and more!\n\n\n\nYour donations allow us to save more dogs as 100% of the funds raised benefit our rescue.
