Molly is one of the miniature labs rescued from a neglect situation in NY. Unfortunately, the breeder had some health issues and stopped feeding the dogs. Brookline was able to rescue some of these mini labs, and now they are receiving the care they need. Please read her blog from the bottom up.

July 7, 2026

Molly had so much fun celebrating this weekend! She celebrated her 7th birthday on July 4th while enjoying all the Fourth of July festivities too. She was spoiled with lots of yummy birthday treats and had the best time!

Molly has been playing with more and more toys lately. She was especially excited to receive her Brookline Box last week! She had a blast exploring everything inside and happily playing with all of her new toys.

She has been resting on her new Brookline blanket! We noticed she likes to bring her toys to her bed, and she will even bring our flip-flops too! She hasn’t chewed any of the shoes; she just seems to like to add them to her collection!

She’s also doing great on her walks. Molly walks nicely on a leash and prefers a relaxed, leisurely pace.

Molly is making some progress on car rides. Although she sits somewhat calmer, she has begun to whine whenever in the car. She has been healing nicely from her spay surgery. She is up to 41 pounds now!

Molly is a total cuddle bug. She’s happiest when she’s curled up right next to her people, soaking up all the love and companionship she can get. She should be ready for adoption next week. She will be such a sweet addition to a family!

Molly has been a busy girl since her last blog update! She had a quick visit from one of the other mini labs, Midnight. They were adorable together, sharing lots of kisses and head rubs. They loved snuggling with each other.

She went for a walk at our local park, and she took a weekend trip to Cape May. She isn’t a fan of car rides. She cries and tries to get unbuckled from her doggie seatbelt. We have been using a little crate with her stuffed toys, which has helped.

She has been doing great in the house. We have been leaving her out with our resident labs for short times, and she lies nicely on her bed while we are out.

She had her spay surgery today, and all went well. She has been resting on her bed as she recovers!

Molly is such a sweet girl. She just loves attention and cuddles!

Molly is settling into foster care beautifully and has been an absolute joy to have around. This little mini-lab loves being close to us and follows us everywhere we go. She has been doing great with our two resident labs.

So far, Molly has been wonderful in the house. She sleeps through the night, has been an angel in her crate, and hasn’t had a single accident. She’s eating well and adjusting to her new life!

Molly has a vet appointment on Tuesday, and we’re looking forward to making sure she’s healthy and getting everything she needs as she starts this new chapter in her life.

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped rescue Molly and the other mini labs. She is a sweet, loving girl, and we can’t wait to see her continue to thrive in foster care.
