Memorial Maggie (formerly Abby)
Dear Brookline,
It is with a very heavy heart that we are writing to inform you that our sweet girl Maggie has passed away. Maggie (“Abby”) joined our family, thanks to Broookline, on April 26th 2008 and left us July 21st 2016. She was such a sweet girl with the gentlest soul. She touched human lives in so many ways – she would lay with someone hurting or with sadness with her tiny paw across their lap and big eyes looking up to say she wanted to make the hurt go away; she helped so many children get past their fear of dogs as she attended a local daycare on many occasions; and she was a sweet companion for our other Lab, Jack. In her time with us, Maggie also became a world traveler, living in England for 2 years and returning home again by way of the Queen Mary II!
Maggie was a wonderful gift and part of our family, and we miss her incredibly. Thank you again for the opportunity to have Maggie in our lives. We’ve attached a few pictures for you below.
