Memorial Leo

Hello Brookline Lab Rescue,

It is with more sadness that we can describe to tell you that we have lost our Leo. He crossed the rainbow bridge on March 18 due to laryngeal paralysis. He had just turned 13. We adopted Leo in 2017 and had no idea that we would experience the happiest, kindest canine soul! My husband and I worked in our family’s business, so Leo went to work with us every day and made friends with each and every employee, as well as the UPS driver, WB Mason driver, the FedEx driver and of course the mailman. He loved his long walks and weekends at the Jersey Shore. He had more friends than we did. Leo was our 5th Labrador Retriever but by far made the biggest impact on our lives because he just loved everyone everywhere. That’s not to say we loved our previous four labs any less. But Leo was special. From sitting with my dad who had dementia to never leaving our side when both my husband and I had severe cases of Covid. He was just an awesome companion and friend! My husband and I are completely heartbroken.
We thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to give Leo a home full of love and Milk Bones! He is sorely missed.
Wayne and Terry B.
