Andy is always smiling, even after going thru change he is constantly happy.

He loves walks and playing fetch in the back yard when its not raining which around here is not often enough.  He does well with my two resident dogs and does not react to other dogs when walking.  He sleeps in his crate at night because he will chew things if available.
Andy gets very excited to meet new people and does not know his own strength!  He just wants to be your friend.  He is still jumping up a bit and can get a little mouthy when excited.  He is like my daughter and my shadow he always wants to be near someone.  He will make someone very happy who wants his attention. yellow labrador retriever sitting

Hi everyone!   I wanted to update everyone on this loveable hunk Andy!  Andy made it in to foster care a little over a day ago.  A neighbor found Andy in her yard and thought he was a stray.  Turns out Andy lived nearby and was living in a small outdoor kennel with a tarp over it.  She convinced the owners to sign him over to Brookline.
Andy is still a little anxious as to be expected.  He is a velcro dog and follows Steve around everywhere.  He is currently living with two fur siblings.  Things are going well and Steve set Andy up for his neutering today.
I should warn you Andy suffers from a condition called lack of exercise and too much food…. I myself suffer from this condition and can relate.  yellow labrador retriever standing
Steve will be working on getting Andy back in to shape until he is neutered and is ready for a forever home.  So please welcome Andy!  I think his eyes are closed because he can’t believe he is out of his kennel!
