Bane, Black Labrador Retriever Mix Male, 8 Years Old

June 25, 2019

black labrador retriever mixBane had a wonderful first night in our home! He snuggled up on the couch all evening after a short romp in the backyard.
He definitely wants to be near his humans at night and prefers to sleep either by the bed or on the bed if allowed. If not,
he cries and whines a little. He is such an easy dog to take care of and to love!
He LOVES stuffed animals and has the best time carrying one around the house with him! He is such a cute little guy!

black labrador retriever mix laying downMeet Bane the new Brookline kid on the block. Bane was adopted out 5 years ago and was clearly well loved and cared for, but his family’s situation has changed, and they have asked Brookline to find him a new home.  Brookline is happy to do this as he’s a winner.

Things we know about Bane:

– Bane is a petite 59 lb 8 year-old black lab mix.

-Bane is fully house-trained.

-Bane is great with kids of all ages and loves playing with another dog

-Bane loves a fenced-in yard to run but is not essential if you can provide other exercise.

-Bane is a very mellow guy who settles easily and is very easy to care for.

-Bane tugs a bit on the harness so a senior adopter might not be a great choice.

-Banes loves to be outside

-Bane absolutely loves to snuggle and will curl up on the couch (or in bed if you let him) and he’ll be completely content.

Bane’s foster reports that Bane will do well with both first time adopters and more experienced owners, kids or no kids,  and he can be one of your pack or will happily be your one and only four legged friend.  What are you waiting for?  Check out our adoption process (https://brooklinelabrescue.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) and see how you can make Bane the newest member of your family.
