Barry Yellow Labrador Retriever Male 6-8 Years Old

August 21, 2019

Yellow Labrador Retriever faceThis is Barry reporting from my foster home.  Life is very good but it would be nicer if I could get someone to adopt me for my forever home.  Don’t get me wrong. I love my foster family, and my canine foster siblings they are treating me very well.  But it would be nice to find my furever home.  I would be fine with other dogs and I love kids.  Not sure how I would do with cats since I do like to chase rabbits and bark at other animals.
Talk to u soon!

Hi it’s Barry and I want to let you know how I am doing.  I love my foster home and my two friends Sadie a choc lab and Grace a boxer.  Sadie is a little anti social and ignores me but Grace and I are very close and like to hang out together.  I also love hanging out with my humans, I love lounging and laying around with Anita she’s about 17 years old and enjoys my company. I had my surgery about a week and a half ago in which I was neutered.  I am recovering well and getting better every day.  I am told by my foster dad that I will be up for adoption soon and hopefully we’ll get my forever home.

Barry is doing much better health wise he does not have a cough anymore and seems to be recovering well. He is a happy go lucky guy who loves attention and likes to steal things like socks when you are not paying attention.  He is doing fine with my dogs and has free roam of the house all day when I am not here.

Barry is doing just fine.  He had kennel cough/pneumonia but is doing better.  He is now getting along with my girls and today he was upstairs all day alone while I was at work.  He loves my daughter and is a happy go lucky guy that needs to still learn some manners.  He will be neutered around July 8th because the vet wants to make sure he is not fighting the upper respiratory issues.

Meet Barry! Barry is around 6-8 years old. He has had a hectic couple of days. He landed at Steve’s late Sunday night. He is said to be a sweet dog that does a lot of smiling.
Barry hasn’t been around Steve’s dogs much yet because he is battling kennel cough. He also has a skin condition that will need cleared up, and then he will need neutered. It doesn’t appear Barry has had much vet care in his life, so he will be in for a surprise.
We look forward to seeing the progress Barry makes in the next few weeks.
