Beau Chocolate Labrador Retriever Female 5 Years Old ID #3468
October 10, 2024
Beau has really begun to love her toys. She loves to go find her favorite toys first thing in the morning after going outside to potty! She even tries to take some of the indoor toys outside with her!
She had her spay surgery and has healed great. The vet and assistants thought she was the sweetest girl! She is back to walking about 2 miles on most days.
She enjoyed lots of company the other day to watch the Phillies game. She was great with all the guests and really seemed to enjoy playing ball with my nephews.
She is so friendly and just wants to right next to us.
She is working still on commands like sit. She is adjusting to our household schedules but still has some anxiety when we leave. She just loves having people with her now!

Beau has been a busy girl! She had fun walk at our local park.
She had fun exploring all the new scents and was very curious about benches and trash cans! She walked so nicely! She likes to chase squirrels out of our fenced in area with her foster dog brothers!
Beau is the happiest when she is with someone! Unfortunately, with our work schedules someone isn’t always home. Beau started to show signs of separation anxiety this past week. We are taking steps to help her when someone isn’t home. She really seeks love and companionship from her humans!
Beau also received her Brookline box this week. She was so excited and loves all her surprises. She loves to play with toys now!

Beau has been a busy girl! She had her vet appointment on Sunday. The vet said she is the sweetest girl!
She mastered a flight of stairs! She loves to go up and down now. We gate the steps during the day so she doesn’t keep going up and down! She is so happy to sleep on her bed in our room at night!
She loves playing outside with her foster brothers. She has so much fun playing with her ball. She also likes to bark at squirrels to get them off our lawn! She continues to work on commands like sit.

Beau has discovered that playing with toys is fun! She is pretty fast chasing the soccer ball in the yard with her foster dog brothers. She also has enjoyed her red ring! She loves taking the ring on her bed to play.
Beau has been doing great with going potty outside. She has even started to stand at the back door and bark so we know she wants to go outside.
She continues to work on steps. She is making progress with going up and down steps..we hope in a few days we can report she goes up and down! She has no trouble going through doorways.
She loves to go on walks. She walks well on the leash.
She definitely loves all the attention she has been getting. She sometimes gets a little too excited and jumps up. She doesn’t seem to realize that she’s a big girl! She is so friendly and loves to give kisses!

Her first lucky day to be part of Brookline ended with a rainbow! The life of a dog is all new to her. She is learning her name, trying out steps and taking walks. She has learned to love the coziness of her beds! She also enjoyed walks on Sunday.
