Meet Bella
This charming young lady is searching for a new place to call home. She has been well loved and cared for by her parents since puppyhood. Unfortunately they live in a community that prohibits fences, and Bella needs much more exercise than she is getting on her leash walks. Further Dad has to have some surgery, after which he won’t be able to walk Bella for some time.
Bella has a very sweet personality and seems to like everyone she meets. She has some experience being around a 6 year old occasionally and they get along very well. Other dogs are always of interest to Bella. If she is on leash she may pull to say hello. Off leash she is a bit submissive to other dogs, especially ones that are high energy.
Bella loves to play and loves to learn. She knows sit, down, shake, spin, high 5 and sit up. It is a requirement that her adopter enroll her into a training program so she can refine her leash skills and general house manners. When it’s time to go outside Bella rings the potty bells on the back door. At night she sleeps soundly in her crate, but during the day she like to be with her people.
