Blake Black Labrador Retriever Mix Male 8 Years Old
October 6, 2019
Poor Blake is wondering why he’s still looking for a new home, and frankly we’re surprised too. Blake is a “turn key” dog who will make the right family very happy He’s a smart boy who loves his people, but isn’t a fan of young kids in his space. Older kids are fine and he is great with other dogs and loves to play with them. He will make an awesome companion. Love to go for walks on the beach or hikes in the woods? He’s your dog. Are you a boater- Blake is boat savvy and is quite accomplished out on the water. Looking for a snuggle buddy- this loyal dog is definitely the right dog for you. He’s the perfect size. Please think about adding this boy to your mix; you won’t regret it. Do you have any questions? Contact us and we’ll be happy to answer them. It is very hard for his owner to give him up, but she knows it’s not fair to him with little kids around.
How many dogs do you know that at corn on the cob!

At 55 lbs., they say I’m petite for a Lab (well I am mixed with terrier), but everyone says my BIG personality shines through! I love everyone I meet, and although I may be 8 yrs. old, I have the energy of a 2 yr. old.
I not only love people, but I also love playing with other dogs. I live with 2 right now, and we are best buds. We love running around the back yard together and have no problems sharing food or toys.
I have also grown up with kids, but though I love older kids, I’m not thrilled with little ones crawling all over me. I guess I’m a bit grumpy with them.
I am such a people person that I will follow you everywhere. I am also a great snuggler! And I am so smart, that I know which couches I can get up on and which ones I can’t. But I’ll warn you – if I’m allowed up, I’m there with my head on your lap and doling out lots of kisses!
Because I love my peeps, I would prefer a home where my favorite person is home more than not. And I hope that special person likes walks, because I LOVE them! I would also enjoy a furry friend, as I’m used to having one around. But I think I could also get used to being “the man of the house” – after all, who doesn’t love being the center of attention?
What do you think – could you be my forever home?
