Is a Yellow Labrador Retriever male, 1 year old. Bruno is still a baby at 11 months. He needs nurturing, love and security and then obedience, loyalty and consistency will follow.

March 20, 2018:

Non-stop playtime! Supervising Bruno and Laila – can’t wait until I can just sit and watch them from the deck. He still gets too carried away and starts jumping on her, holding her down, and biting her hard enough that she’ll whimper if I don’t stay close while they play. But she’s only been here since Friday, and they only started playing outside together on Sunday…so they have come a long way in a very short time!

March 19, 2018:

Today was a beautiful, sunny day and Bruno and Laila got plenty of play time together in the yard. They are doing so well together. Bruno is learning to be “gentle” and take it “easy” with her. And he is starting to obey commands like “sit” without being bribed by a treat offered! When he wants the toy she has, he knows I’ll stop him from simply jumping on her and taking it away, and out of frustration he begins to furiously dig the soil! Yet he still listens when I tell him “no dig!” Sure, I had to tell him “no dig” more than once, plus squirt him with water, but he’s learning to control himself more and more!
