Buddy continues to settle in here. He still won’t walk from room to room, but he will enter 3 of 4 entrances to our house, so at least we can get him into the living room without much trouble. chocolate Labrador Retriever laying downHe enjoys being outside and sniffing everything. He gets around perfectly fine for an older dog and even runs a little when he gets excited.
He spent a little time in the kiddie pool and got a bath, which he tolerated. He smells so good now and his coat is nice and shiny! His ear is MUCH better! Tonight when I got the cleaner and medicine out, he came right over and sat down in front of me and waited to have his ears cleaned. He actually seems to enjoy it! yellow and chocolate Labrador Retrieves in baby pool
He hasn’t shown any interest in toys so far. He does love food and will clean up all the biscuits the other dogs leave laying around. He takes his treats very gently and eats nicely. He doesn’t jump and only barks when he wants to be near us, but won’t walk into the room or area where we are. He is very sweet and lovable-we are happy to have him here.
