Cooper is an all-around great guy.  He’s a friendly, happy, affectionate, and playful boy who doesn’t act his age.  He’s very social and loves people of all ages, especially kids, and dogs.  He currently lives with a 3-1/2 year old human brother and an 11-year old fur brother.

As a typical lab, Cooper is active but settles down easily with regular exercise.  He loves hanging out with his people and his favorite activity is playing fetch but he also loves going on walks, hiking and swimming too.

Cooper is enthusiastic in his greetings (he may jump a bit on first meeting) and on walks (he will pull to smell something or say hi to someone).  He does have some allergies, his family hasn’t done testing to confirm but think they’re seasonal.  They manage them primarily with Benadryl, although they have been prescribed medicine too.  They don’t think they’re food related but do give him food without chicken or beef.

Cooper is easy-going and would do well in a variety of homes.  He would love to find an yellow labrador retriever sitting mouth openactive family who would spend time with him doing his favorite things.  Added benefits would include a family with kids and a yard to run around in and play fetch.

If there is a resident dog, Cooper would enjoy one who would play with him.  It’s unknown how he is with cats but he does like to chase squirrels.  Given that, he would probably chase cats initially but may be fine if he’s given time to adjust to them.yellow labrador retriever sitting looking up
