Daisy Yellow Labrador Retriever Female 4 Years Old
March 8, 2025
Meet Daisy! This sweet, playful 4-year-old female Lab is in need of a new home because her owner passed away suddenly. She’s had allot of changes to deal with over the past weeks. She went from living in a home with 4 other Labs to living in a kennel.
She is missing her daily snuggles and her outdoor time. Daisy was living in a rural area and was trained to stay on a very large property. So, she likes to sniffing and exploring, then returning to the house to relax. In her next home she would enjoy either a fenced yard or an owner who likes to take her on leash sniffari’s. While she hasn’t been leashed walked often, we found her to be pretty focused on her human with minimal pulling. With a proper harness and a little practice, she should be a great walking companion. Daisy settles easily with moderate exercise.
Daisy lived with a 7-year-old for a time, and she did well, so we think she would do fine in a family with kids, a single person, or an all-adult household. Daisy would also enjoy another dog in the household, but this is not required as she seems to be the most independent of the 5 that were living together. She has not been around cats, so how she would be with them is unknown.
Daisy is fully housebroken and well-behaved in the house. She is trained to use a crate and is fine sleeping in her crate overnight.
It’s important to note that Daisy has not been spayed, and we are offering her for adoption with a sterilization contract.
This girl is awesome, and anxious to share her love with a new family. Might that be you?
