Darla Chocolate Labrador Retriever Female 2.5 Years Old
Darla is a pretty, 2.5 year old, purebred chocolate female lab who is looking for a foster or foster to adopt family through Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue.
Darla is being surrendered to Brookline due to the owners current medical needs which makes them unable to properly care for her at this time.
Darla is sweet, affectionate, velcro, loves her people and really craves attention.
She is good with men, women and children that she knows. The owner has younger grandkids (4 & 5yo) and Darla loves them but we are recommending older children so she can settle into a home more easily as she can be shy at first and could be more nervous in a loud environment.
Darla currently lives with another dog but likes to be the center of attention and would do well as an only dog. If there is another dog in the home, we are recommending that they are calm and confident.
She takes treats gently and loves her squeaky toys.
Darla is UTD on shots but will need to be microchipped.
Darla needs a quiet foster or foster to adopt home with a fence. Darla is shy and anxious in new situations as she was not socialized outside of her current home or family. Darla will need a patient foster or foster to adopt family who will allow her to acclimate at her own pace.
