Dexter and Jasmine Labrador Retrievers Chocolate Male and Black Female 9 Years Old
June 19, 2019
Meet Dexter and Jasmine. Nine years young, these dogs are in search of their furever home. Because they have been together since they were pups (Jasmine is 6 months older than Dexter), they’d like to stay together. So when you adopt them, you will have an instant lab family, and since they have each other, they should adapt more easily to a new home.
Dexter is your typical goofy, happy lab who just loves attention from people and whose exercise needs can be easily met by playing fetch. He could play for hours if you’ve got the time and the arm. Jasmine likes to run with Dex when he’s in pursuit of the ball and she even sometimes gets it first, but then she’s happy to drop it and let Dex bring it back for the next round. Jasmine is the more reserved of the two and her mom says she is super smart and sweet. Dexter would prefer that he and Jasmine be your only dogs, but dog testing showed he did fine in the vicinity of other dogs, and he chose to ignore them. He only has eyes for Jasmine and his people. They lived with a cat a long time ago, and when dog testing them, a cat sauntered by and they could care a less.
Both are house and crate trained, and they are also border trained for the most part and enjoy playing in their big back yard with a creek running along the back. They’ve both just had all their vaccines updated and were given a clean bill of health.
Dex and Jasmine have lived with the same family their entire lives, but their owners’ situation has changed and they feel these two deserve more attention than they can give them. These two have a lot of love to give for many years to come. Might you be the one to provide them with a life befitting of man’s best friend?
