Duke #22 Yellow Labrador Retriever Male 2 Years Old ID #3152

September 5, 2023

Duke had a vet visit to check out a couple of lumps/bumps. He was so amazing at the appointment that the veterinarian sat on the floor and snuggled him after the visit!Labrador Retriever He had a lump on his face aspirated which turned out to just be from possibly bumping his face during transport and showed no unusual cells. The bump on his back was x-rayed and is just a calcium deposit from an old injury. Both bumps should eventually resolve on their own.Labrador Retriever Duke is ready to meet his new forever family and is hoping his perfect match is out there waiting for him!

Duke has been slowly gaining confidence with people and becoming more active in initiating play with the other dogs in the home.

He is working on crate training, which he does not love, but is making progress. Duke is a great boy who loves squeaky toys and playing tug of war with other dogs. He will absolutely thrive in a home with a confident doggy sibling.Yellow Labrador retriever His favorite thing is to cuddle up with anyone ready and willing to comply!

Duke is going for a checkup next week to  have his lumps and bumps looked at which are hopefully nothing to worry about.

Duke has been with us for a little over a week and is learning the lay of the land in his foster home. He came to us through a transport from the south and is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings. Duke is a bit of anxious guy and will stay by your side as much as he can. When he snuggles he gets as close to you as physically possible and has no hang ups about personal space! Duke is living with two children and two other dogs whom he loves.

He also lives with two cats who he is very respectful of. We are sure that with more time Duke will become more confident and less anxious. He’s an absolute sweetheart and his foster family adores him!Yellow Labrador retriever
