We are wrapping up our first whole week with Ellie. She is falling into our routine and is improving with going to the door in order to signal that she needs to go outside. She is a curious little girl, but responds well when redirected. Her favorite things to do are play with our resident dog and cuddle up with anyone who is available. She seriously cannot get close enough to her humans and it is adorable.
Her forever family is bound to fall in love at first meeting- she is such a sweet girl.

After a 24 hour ride all the way from Mississippi, she is here in Emmaus, Pa wondering why it is so cold! This girl is not happy about going out in the rain and cold, and we can’t blame her.
Ellie loves to cuddle. Like, really cuddle. I have never met a puppy who just can’t get enough snuggles. She made it through last night in her crate and there was no mess. Fingers crossed this wasn’t a fluke! She barked around 5 am, went out to pee, and then curled up with foster mom for a nice nap.
Ellie is a brave little lady. She came right into our home ready to play. Our Brookline Alum Yara is a whopping 95 pounds, but Ellie isn’t phased at all. She goes right up and initiates play…then passes out for a nap.
We are looking forward to learning more about her before she heads out to her forever family. We will keep working on house training.
