Georgie Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix Female 4 Months Old ID #3008

June 27, 2022

Georgie had another great week filled with learning all kinds of “big girl” things. She is doing great ringing the bell to let us know that she needs to go outside.  Speaking of outside…she took her first dip in the big pool when she tried to run across it to get to foster mom. She did well since she just loves water, but that was a surprise for us all!yellow Labrador Retriever Mix

She is catching on with “sit”..especially when there are treats involved:)

When she is ready for a nap, she looks to see what person is available to cuddle up next to.  Georgie has so much love to give.

Happy Friday!

Georgie is continuing to get the hang of life in a house.  We have had fewer accidents the last day or so and she is improving with walking on a leash. Her confidence is growing when it comes to playing with the big dogs.  We are impressed with how she respects their corrections when they have had enough and need a break.

Georgie is such a happy girl. Her whole-body wiggles whenever someone enters the room. We are confident she is going to be bringing lots of love to her forever family.

Georgie is settling in well. She has a lot of puppy energy, so we have been trying to keep her busy. She has made friends with our two resident pups, so they have been playing tug and sharing lots of toys. She enjoyed some quality time in the puppy pool yesterday. Georgie loves the water.

Last night Georgie made it through the night in her crate with no crying and no messes!! She is ok being alone; it just makes the return of her humans even more exciting:)

Hi! I’m Georgie, I am a 13-week-old 2o lbs female lab mix.  After a long trip up from Mississippi, I am settling into my foster home. Foster mom says that I should wear a shirt that says “Free Hugs and Kisses” because that is what I am all about. For real…I just love people! The last 24 hours I have been following around the two kids in the house (so fun!) and learning about the two resident dogs in the house.  So far so good. They are even sharing their toys with me.yellow Labrador Retriever Mix

I have been practicing going outside to do my business.  I have some work to do, but I think I will get the hang of it real soon.  My crate isn’t my favorite place to go, though once I settle in, it is a great place for a nap.  Foster mom said it won’t be long before I have a forever family of my own, so I am working hard to be ready to go!
