Gidget Chocolate Labrador Retriever Female 3 Years Old ID #3325

March 8, 2023

Meet Gidget, a three-year-old dark chocolate beauty who was recently surrendered by her owner who moved into an apartment and could not take her.chocolate labrador retriever

Gidget is a very sweet girl who loves to be with her “people”!   This girl’s tail never stops wagging!  She is determined to win you over with her big “smile” and has the “Lab lean” down pat!  She especially loves cuddling with her peeps.

Her second favorite thing in life is chasing balls – she will happily play ball all day if you let her.  She has become an expert with the Chuckit!  – and will happily bring the ball back for more!chocolate labrador retriever

Gidget is still working on her leash skills but doing well with a Freedom harness.  She is crate trained, but also reliable with free roam.  She gets along with other dogs, though she is far more focused on playing ball than playing with her fur friends.  She would do well with agility – she would love the mental and physical challenge.

Between two fetch sessions with the Chuckit! and a few short walks, Gidget will settle in nicely. She is your quintessential Lab.

PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue. (Note: Sometimes a foster home falls in love and adopts their foster dog so the dog doesn’t make it to “Available Now”)

If you need additional information about the adoption process or whether you are in our coverage area, please send an e-mail to our Rescue at info@brooklinelabrescue.org
