Happy Yellow Labrador Retriever Male, 7 Years Old
August 1, 2018
Happy is a 7 yr male who needs a new home.
Due to circumstances beyond his control his life has been changed and his stability lost. Because of all these different things going on Happy is feeling anxious (understandably) and seems to want to be more with people than usual for a loving Lab.
To help him get back to being amazing we are looking for a family who is home more than most. A family that loves to walk and give him the exercise all Labs need for mental and physical stimulation. A family that understands the Lab personality and how they are people dogs and usually prefer their owners to anyone else in the world !
Happy grew up with kids and lives with another small dog who bosses him around and steals all his toys 🙁
He is good on his leash especially after he has taken care of business. Happy cannot be crated and until the last few months was fine free roam in the house alone. He still is …..but not for long periods. We believe with love, time and structure Happy will once again be fine left alone. For now we are suggesting only short periods and reassurance of returning.
Happy also likes to chase cats, he respected the cat after she swatted him, but we think he deserves peace so no cats for Happy!
