Joey Black Labrador Retriever Male, 4 Years Old

July 31, 2018

black Labrador Retriever standingPeople say I’m very handsome – whatever that means. All I know is that I’m happy to be in a family again after 7 months in a shelter! My family gave me up when they moved as they couldn’t take me with them – I was so sad – but now I’m living the good life again!

I love being able to run around, sleep on soft cushy places and get lots of lovin’! At the end of the day, I love cuddling with my people – big and little. And I’ll be more than happy to snuggle with you all night, if you want.

I am crate trained, getting better on the leash, and am very smart – I could easily be trained as a service dog due to my charming personality and smarts!

I am good with other dogs (not so sure about cats yet) and love kids! I have always lived with kids and dogs, and think they’re awesome. However, since I can be a bit enthusiastic, I would probably do better with kids over 8 yrs. of age.

At 4 yrs. old, I am one happy, tail wagging dude! My foster Mom thinks I am quite a “catch”! Can I be your special buddy?   For more information please contact susan.stauffer@comcast.net.
