King Yellow Labrador Retriever Male 5 Years Old ID#2962
October 9, 2021
Meet King. This handsome 5 year old gentleman is looking for a new place to hang his leash. He is dearly loved by his family but they have several cats and try as they might, they have not been able to get King to leave their cats alone. Because of the way their house is set up and because they’re about to be empty nesters, there just aren’t enough hands to keep everyone safe AND happy. They have therefore made the tough decision to see if they can find an awesome new home for King where he doesn’t have to be tortured by the cats (the cats would probably argue that he is torturing them!) and where he can have more of his family’s undivided attention.
King loves, loves, loves to play fetch (and he brings the ball back and drops it!). King has always had what is termed a ‘lazy eye’, but it doesn’t impact him in any way that you can tell. He can catch a ball mid-air and track it as good as any lab I’ve witnessed. King also really looks forward to his daily walks. He pulls some at first when he’s excited but then settles well for a good brisk walk. Need to lose some pandemic weight? You might have just met your new walking partner! King does not appreciate dogs being aggressive and in his face and he will bark accordingly, but he does great minding his own business.
King lives with a smaller female mixed breed herding dog, and does very well with her. In fact, he’s the submissive one. Still his family thinks that it might be best for him to be your one and only in a new home. Might that home be yours?
