Hi everyone!  Maestro here!Black Labrador Retriever laying down

I know that it has been awhile, but lots of things have been happening here!

Anyway, FM says that I am a “love”.  I just love to get a pat on my head or rubbed under my chin.  I’ll lay my head on the arm of a chair or the side of the bed and just let you pat my head or rub my chin as long as you want.  I love it!  FM says that my fur is so soft and silky.  She loves to just stroke my head.  Win Win for me!  FD is my favorite, though.  He gives the best pats!  It is usually FD who lets Camo and me out and feeds us.  I am not really treat motivated, which FD cannot believe, but that is me.  I take the treats because it seems to mean so much to him!

Recently I discovered bunnies in the backyard, under the shed.  I love to chase them, and knowing that they are under the shed drives me crazy!  I don’t bark and go crazy, but I don’t like to go back inside as long as I am searching for the bunnies.  That annoys FD because he wants me to come in, and I ignore him.  I don’t mean to, but I can’t resist trying to get to those bunnies!  When I do go in, Camo gives me the business because he loves treats, and he has to wait for me.  It’s ok.  Camo is from Brookline, too!

Anyway, I will be at the Evesham Twp. Fall Harvest Festival this Saturday, Sept. 29, from 11:00-1:00.  If you are interested in a wonderful, soft, silky and sweet guy who loves to be with his people, come on down and meet me!  FM thinks that I will be up for adoption in the next week or two.  I can’t wait to meet my furever family.  I just know that they are going to be great!

Hi!  I’m Maestro, and I am sooooo very happy to be a part of Brookline!  When FM came to pick me up, I thought I was just going for a walk.  When we walked out and she opened her car door for me, I was a little confused, but then so very happy!  I love to ride in the car!  I settled right in and FM said how good I was.  She gave me some treats, too, but I didn’t eat them- I was too happy, looking around at all the new sights we passed.

When we pulled into a driveway and got out, FM walked me around to the back of the house and into a beautiful big yard with lots of green grass and trees.  It was beautiful!  I ran and sniffed everything.  Then my friend Camo, whom I met the day before, came out to play with me.  Then I met Ozzie, the oldest and obviously the adult, so he has my respect.

Inside there are beds for us wherever FM and FD are, although sometimes I just like to lay on the wood floor- it is cooler.  Camo and I like to play tug with the awesome tug toy that was in a special box that came to ME!  I never received mail before!  Thank you for the care package Carolyn Haist!  And thank you Brookline, for rescuing me!  I don’t know why I was there, and I don’t know what happened to my family, but I was really alone.  Now I have really great food, my own bed in the bedroom with FM, FD, Camo, and Ozzie, fur brothers to play with, and lots of pats and rubs and hugs.  FM says how good I am, and FD gives the best pats and head rubs.  They say that I take treats very gently, and that I am calm when I should be calm but fun when it is time to play.  They want me to put on some weight, though, so I am eating really well and they are putting this yummy gooey stuff on my food.  I am not really food motivated, (SURPRISE!) but I do take a treat now and then.  FM says that my coat is really shiny, so I may be really bony and skinny, but I am still handsome!  I’ll get back to you soon Brookline,  and thank you, thank you, thank you for rescuing me!!!!
