Marilee Yellow Labrador Retriever Female 3 Years Old ID #3236

August 20, 2024Yellow Labrador Retriever

Marley has been living her best life. We went to visit a former Brookline adopter/friend and meet his people that included 3 little people and an older very large dog! I loved them all and was a perfect lady. Marley has discovered toys and lives to get all 850 toys out.

Here are a few that I have stashed on her bed.

Here are a few cute photos of this gem. ❤️

Marley’s (marilee) Brookline box came and was full of all kinds of goodie’s.  Today was the first day she had started playing with toys. She loved the Spider-Man.🥰

Marilee (Marley) was spaded today. She had a history of a vaginal prolapse and was due to come into heat any day. she came through with flying colors less one very large uterus said the doctor. She looks so cute in the new leopard surgery suit that she will be sporting for a few days. Yellow Labrador RetrieverThe vet did check her teeth and said she will need a dental appointment at some time but does not see any rotting or infection. She has a lot of buildup on the teeth.

Again, I can’t say enough about how sweet and well behaved she is …. even the vet tech wanted to adopt her 😊

Marilee (Marley) here … to say I have settled in is an understatement 😊I now will climb up on the couch and stretch out for a long nap. Yellow Labrador RetrieverWhen we are sitting out back, I will hop up on FM or FD lap and survey the back yard (yes, all 77 pounds of me).Yellow Labrador Retriever  I do all my business outside and no barking from me …. oh and I don’t jump on people either. FM said I am a dream come true.

Tomorrow I will be getting spayed and need some good Brookline mojo. ❤️

Marilee (Marley) here, I spent the day with FD doing all kinds of fun stuff. after I got my ears tended to, we hung out on the back deck and took a nice snooze. Later he loaded me up in the truck and he took me to a place called Home Depot ….

wow that place is big and has lots of people that wanted to pet me (and I loved every minute of it 😊) they have lots of things to sniff.Yellow Labrador Retriever I was a perfect angel.

FD said he had more fun in store for Me……. We were going to lay on the couch and watch the white marlin open. I was not that interested so I took a couple snoozes and potty breaks out back with FM.

I am tired after a very long day of first ‘s for me. This is Marilee I am a 3-year-old beautiful female lab (my FM calls me Marley she said it rolls better and that’s what FD thought my name was 🤪)

I started my day when a nice lady  picked me up from the farm and shuttled me to another lady who brought me to my foster mom and her sister to take me to a whole New World. I rode in the car like a champ and even had a few treats along the way.Yellow Labrador Retriever

When we got to the house I chilled for a bit.

I had my vet appointment later in the afternoon and I weighed in at 77 pounds. I have an ear infection 🙁and was given some medicine to take care of that.

Now onto the elephant in the room ….my odor……. I must have smelled really bad……. Everyone that met me said I was beautiful but……. wow o wow I stunk! After my vet appointment we went to get a bath 😊FM had special shampoo for me that she bought in Key West Florida. I was such a good girl for my bath I let FD scrub me all over and even stood nicely for the blow dryer. I now smell fresh and clean.Yellow Labrador Retriever

FD slept downstairs with me and I am happy to report we both sleep soundly all night he on the couch me on a big comfy bed next to him. I really like that guy.

I am a very happy girl!
