Max #26 Black Labrador Retriever Mix Male 3 Months Old ID#2539
Max arrived into this world on June 2, 2020. Max was in a shelter in Mississippi after being returned by his previous owner who realized that they just didn’t have enough time to devote to a puppy. Through a great volunteer network, Max traveled North, and is currently getting settled in his new foster home. Please read Max’s blog from the bottom up to learn more about this young guy.

Max is ready for his new forever home! This good boy sleeps through the night, and hasn’t had any accidents at all this week. Max will also sit at the door, and he learned to sit, and shake the first 12 hours he was here, so we know he is a smart little guy. He plays well with Stella, our resident dog, and doesn’t bark in his crate. Max thrives on love, patience, training, and tons of exercise, and is looking for a family who can fulfill all his needs.
Max discovered a new toy!

Foster Max is keeping us on our toes. He runs, and jumps, and does the puppy crazies, and leaps into your lap to smother you with kisses. Max arrived from Mississippi, and just melted our hearts. He learned to sit, and shake in the first couple days.
We are working on OFF, and that is a challenge as he is curious about everything. If he can’t see something, or reach something, he does his best to try! Those lanky legs are long, and very helpful! On walks he stops, and sits if he sees something that sparks his interest, like he is seeing everything new for the first time. It is absolutely adorable. He spent the weekend running, and playing on the beach with Stella.
He loves her, and she is teaching him how to play, and use his mouth softly. He sleeps all night in his crate, and will give a small bark to let us know he needs to go out. Max understands what squeaky toys are now, and he loves to chase the ball like any good Lab should. We were told he is a Lab/Great Dane Mix, and he throws those long legs everywhere.Max will be available for adoption soon so keep following his blog for more pictures, and information. He is up to date on shots and already neutered.

Max arrived yesterday, and all is going good. He is 13 weeks old. Max is tall, and lanky. He slept through the night, kept his crate clean, and learned sit already!
Max spent the morning playing on the beach, and chasing the ball.
