Nessie arrived with us yesterday – what a sweetheart! She follows Dave and I around EVERYWHERE – we have to be careful that she doesn’t get under our feet because she’s always so happy to be as close to us as possible.
She has all of the typical puppy traits – sharp little teeth that nibble on everything, jumps for attention, not housebroken (we’re working on this and already noticing some progress,) and she is still trying to figure out how the whole crate thing works – last night was a tough night!
Dave and I have had many pups over the years and she definitely holds the record for stamina for vocally letting us know of her dislike being alone and in the crate!! But, the good news is that her small bouts of crate time intermittently throughout today are giving us some hope that she’s making progress with this, too!!
She is starting to become more comfortable with our resident dogs – she is especially fond of Lily, who is seen with her in two of the pictures.
Lily is a foster fail who used to be a breeder Momma and we can’t help but wonder if they have a special connection!
