Paisley, 8 yr old female black mix

Hi friends!

My foster mom wanted to give an update on me! I’m still doing a food trial and then will need some allergy testing so it might be a little while before I’m ready to be adopted.

She said that I am still a great dog, but that she thinks I might do well as an only dog or with an older laid back pup! I continue to really love my human’s attention and really demand it if another dog wants it too! I can be protective of my humans and my territory at time, but boy am I an affectionate and calm, loyal dog with my people! I really love just hanging out and being pet- that is my very favorite thing! I really love kids, but I would probably also be happy in a home with an older couple who is home a lot- because like I said, I love pets!

I’ll keep you updated on my progress with my allergies and health! Keep me in mind if you’re looking for a loyal, sweet, and loving dog who really just wants to tons of pets all day!

black labrador retriever mix profile face mouth open white chestHi there!  I wanted to check in with you folks.  This is Paisley.  I had a follow up appointment with my ear doctor.  He said my ears are looking better.  I still cried when he looked in there but things don’t hurt as much.  He says in mid October he will start introducing new proteins into my diet to check if I am allergic.  Until then I plan to hang out with my foster sister and my foster Mom.  Also, I plan to get belly rubs from my dog walker Morgan.  I love my dog walker!  I love my Mom and my sister too.  When Mom comes home from work I jump and cry like nobody’s business!  I will update again soon!black labrador retriever on back paws up white chest

Hi!  My name is Paisley.  I am a 6.5 year old black lab mix. I am a good girl who is good on black labrador retriever mix face mouth open white chestleash and reliable in the house with free run.  I know sit, paw, and wait.  I love kids and am good with dogs.  I currently am in a foster home in Exton, Pa.  I have a foster lab sister that I get along with famously.  I like to protect the house by barking and enjoy going for walks.  I love to sit on the deck and lay in the sun, beg for pets and belly rubs.  I am on a semi-raw food diet due to my allergies and have recently seen a Specialty Vet.  The doc said my ears are pretty bad inside and boy are they itchy!  I plan to be in foster care for a few months and won’t be available for adoption until I feel better.  The vet needs time to get to the bottom of my allergies and my ear problem.  So stay tuned for updates on me, Miss Paisley!
