Peaches #3 Yellow Labrador Retriever Female 7 Year Old ID #3435

July 1, 2024

This weekend I got to enjoy a box of goodies from my Brookline family. I loved the tasty treats and my new blanket!  I’m so thankful for Brookline 🙂

I’m continuing to enjoy my time with my foster family and can’t wait to find my forever home. Yellow Labrador Retriever

Bright and early this morning (5:45 AM to be exact) I met my Australian Sheppard neighbor and I couldn’t stop playing with her! We had a great time.

I laid in the shade on the porch today while fostering mom did some work.  I enjoyed being outside in the cooler weather and just relaxing.

Since the weather was a little bit milder today, foster mom let me ride in the car to the camp bus stop!  I loved sniffing out the open window and had the biggest wiggle butt seeing the kids get off the camp bus.

I also got to meet an English Black Lab! He kept barking at me to play but I just wanted to sniff.

Peaches, signing off. Enjoy the weekend!

Peaches here checking in.  I got to meet a chocolate lab and we sniffed and sniffed and both behaved.  The family across the street also came over to visit and meet me. I was so happy to meet new people and welcomed them into the house with a wagging tail.

Foster mom took me in the car yesterday and I was such a good girl. I really like car rides and sniffing out the window.Yellow Labrador Retriever

My foster family had to go out for a few hours and I walked right into my crate when asked.  Foster mom was so impressed!  I was very happy when they came home. Lots of tail wagging and happy whimpering.

I am really enjoying my naps and being around my foster family.Yellow Labrador Retriever

I’m really enjoying my time jn my foster home.  I like to relax a lot.  I get taken on 4 walks a day but don’t get far in this heat.

I’m usually tapped out at 20 minutes then take a nice long nap.Yellow Labrador Retriever

I am super easy to walk because I am fantastic on the leash.  See my video foster mom took as proof!  A squirrel or bird will pique my interest but I don’t even lunge at them.Yellow Labrador Retriever

I’m a big cuddle bug.  I really like snuggling up, belly rubs, and just being around my foster family.

Foster mom left me alone for a few 15-minute windows and I was mostly good.  I did get some left-over scrambled eggs my foster siblings left on the counter, as well as some Tostitos.  My foster parents say that’s their fault and not mine though.Yellow Labrador Retriever

Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself, my name is Peaches.  I was surrendered because my owner is not able to care for me any longer.  I know it was a hard decision for them but luckily Brookline stepped in and now I’m in what’s called a foster home.

I got to meet my foster family yesterday, and so far, am settling in nicely.  I did great in the car, laid down for the most part but sniffed out the window when foster dad rolled the windows down.Yellow Labrador RetrieverWhen I arrived at my foster home, my foster family gave me a bath which I really enjoyed because the hose water kept me cool on the extremely hot day.

I did great my first night into foster home.  Even though I am crate trained, my foster mom and dad let me sleep on the floor of their room.  I didn’t make a peep until my tiny human foster sister woke me up to play at 6:00 AM.

My foster family is really impressed that I know basic commands.  By the way, I’m not allowed on the furniture here. I did jump on the couch once and a bed once but my foster parents only had to tell me “down” once and I haven’t tried to jump on any furniture since.  I also don’t bother my foster family when they are eating meals or snacks, I just lay on the floor near them, waiting and hoping something falls.

Today I got to enjoy a nice big bone inside in the air conditioning. Great day!  I’ll check back in tomorrow.
