Riley #6 Silver Labrador Retriever Male 10 Years Old

March 10, 2024

Hello…..my name is Riley and I am currently conducting interviews for a new owner. The requirements for this position include 1) a fenced yard or being able to go for a minimum of 4 walks per day. They don’t need to be super long walks, but walks none the less.

2) being able to work quietly or otherwise keep yourself occupied while I take my naps 3) you don’t get your feeling hurt if I decide to go to bed early 4) you can deal with the fact that I am a little shy around new people. I warm up pretty quickly with most people, but some people I prefer to just ignore (come on- you don’t like everyone you meet either). 5) breakfast and dinner to be served at roughly the same time every day 6) willing to supply new stuffy toys every six months (I carry them everywhere, and they only last so long). 7) highly experienced with top of tail scratching.

Compensation: love, loyalty, and companionship

I’m a laid back kind of guy, and would really enjoy a work from home family.   You work, I’ll watch you work.   I hardly ever bark, so I won’t we disturbing you while you are on your zoom calls.

I’m ok with other dogs, but I’m not really interested in having to supervise a young pup that wants to play all the time.     So, if you have another dog, it would be best they can keep themselves entertained.

Adopt Your New Best Friend!

PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue. (Note: Sometimes a foster home falls in love and adopts their foster dog so the dog doesn’t make it to “Available Now”).

If you are interested in adopting this Lab or any other Lab from our Rescue, please visit our Web site, brooklinelabrescue.org, for more information on our adoption process. If you need additional information about the adoption process or whether you are in our coverage area, please send an e-mail to our Rescue at info@brooklinelabrescue.org.

Even if you are not ready to adopt, you can still help us help our Labs!
