Sadie #10 Chocolate Labrador Retriever Female 11 Years Old BLRR # 2768

Due to a recent personal change, and subsequent change in work schedule, Sadie’s current owner couldn’t provide the time, and dedication this energetic, fun-loving, and friendly senior Labrador needed.  If it were not for the tell-tale signs of a white muzzle, you would be surprised to hear she was 11 years old.  Sadie has plenty of energy, and is in great physical shape.  She can bound up steps with no problem.  She loves her stuffy toys, and absolutely loves people. Read Sadie’s blog from the bottom up to see what she has been doing in her foster home.

Sadie is a very calm senior chocolate.  She is very sweet, loves to give kisses and snuggle.  We have gotten her to play ball, even with our four resident labs that like to take over the yard. Sadie has found a way to feel at home very quickly.  We took her to Tractor supply on Sunday and she was very friendly during the introductions to other dogs.  One dog growled at her, and it didn’t seem to make her upset.

Sadie continues to come out of shell each day. She played ball for quite a while yesterday, and even played tug of war with one of our resident dogs Jake. She’s super sweet, and seems to be getting more comfortable each day.

Sadie is a sweet girl!  She is settling in nicely with our resident pack of four.  The introduction with all of the resident dogs was smooth sailing.  Since arriving, Sadie has been checking out the house.  She is trying to find her comfort zone in this new busy environment, but we don’t anticipate it will take long for her to feel totally relaxed.  Sadie loves giving kisses and getting pets.chocolate labrador retriever
