Shane Black Labrador Retriever Male 1 Year Old

Black Labrador Shane with his Kong boneI may look like a big boy, but I’m all puppy at heart!  I love, love, love to play and once I’m tired out, I will happily climb on your lap and chew my bone or just cuddle!  I am one big mush when it comes to getting hugs!Black Labrador Shane out in the yard

I am a year old bundle of puppy energy, and need an active family to give me lots of exercise and play time.  I’m a bit of a handful on leash (I’m still learning my leash manners) but I’m a quick study and want to please – especially when treats are involved!

I also LOVE other dogs – I’ve been to a dog park and thought it was absolutely the best thing EVER to be able to play with all of my furry friends.  What fun!

I am crate trained and house trained, though I am still learning to signal when I want to go out.  I love everyone I meet, but since I can be a bit of a klutz and sometimes get a bit wild and crazy, I would be better with older children.  I would hate to accidentally knock a little one down.

I love car rides – especially all of those wonderful smells!  I am just a happy go lucky, fun loving, tail wagging Lab looking for a wonderful, fun home!Black Labrador Shane hanging out in the house
