Skye #3 Yellow Labrador Retriever Female 6 Years Old ID#3713
Meet Skye! Skye is an adorable 6 yo farm girl who belonged to a good farmer who took care of her well and always made sure she was UTD on vaccinations. The farmer thought it was time she should have a home of her own and contacted Brookline to help find her a great new home. Please read Skye’s blog from the bottom up to learn more about her while in foster care.

I met Deb and Jackie to pick up this beautiful girl. I am use to the farm dogs being a little shy especially at first, not this girl! Skye adapted very quickly to everything in our home other than the cats. But she was a quick learner and now watches them from a distance or ignores them all together. She’s learning to potty outside so is wearing panties until she masters that . Xlarge didn’t fit, thankfully Amazon delivered the XXlarge panties overnight.Skye had her initial vet appointment Friday and she weighed in at 107lbs, we are working on that. She loves to go for walks and run with my boy in the yard which will help. Everyone at the vet loved her!!! You can’t help but love her, she’s so affectionate, so beautiful and the wiggle butt and wagging tail never stops if she’s getting attention.
We are working on leash manners as she is so excited that she can pull you down the street. She’s learning from my boy and me, it’s good to walk with a loose leash and not pull.
There have been a lot of strangers in and out of our home the last few days and she loves everyone! A few of the nurses couldn’t believe that she was only here 2 days, they thought she was one of my resident dogs.

A big welcome to Skye a 6 yr old beautiful yellow girl.Today Jackie and I drove to the farm and pulled Skye. The farmer also trains the dogs so Skye knew sit and a few other commands. The best command was load up. As soon as we said it she jumped into my car and laid down. It made it so easy.
Skye is sweet and loving. She is drop dead gorgeous. Good with other dogs. Great with kids. She is a full figured girl. Chris F will work on getting her girlish figure back.
We met Chris at Pet Supply Plus and helped ger bathe Skye. Then we said load up and she jumped in Chris’s car and off they went. She is a lovely girl.
