States Black Labrador Retriever Mix Male 8+ Years Old
Meet States!
States is looking for a foster home so that he can be moved out of the Trenton Shelter where they estimated him to be 8+ years old.
States will need to have some dental work done. His lower canines and incisors are extremely worn and he has a swelling under his eye due to dental disease. He is currently on antibiotics and pain meds for the swelling. Due to his dental condition, he is not safe in the shelter. 
He has done well with other dogs during his dog test at the shelter and can walk by barking dogs in the other kennels and also cats and had no reaction.
States is very food motivated and will do sit, paw, down and stay for treats.
He even did an unprompted paw and roll over when he saw the treats come out! He does get enthusiastic with high value treats but usually takes treats nicely.
His leash manners are good, he likes to chase after toys and balls and he absolutely LOVES tug!
