Stella #6 Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix Female 7 Months Old
February 28, 2023
Frannie is almost through with the “quiet phase” of her heartworm treatment. Hopefully she will have her bloodwork to check that the microfilaria have cleared and be able to increase her activity level and stop gabapentin. Frannie has had to stay quiet and calm since she came into foster and it will be interesting to see the real Frannie emerge.

Stella is looking for a new home with a family that can spend more time with her. This little girl is super smart, and she loves to learn new things. She is fully housebroken, knows sit & down, and has excellent recall. She will entertain herself with her toys, but also likes a willing partner for a good game of tug. Once playtime is over, she will cuddle with you on the couch to watch a little TV. When it’s time for bed she sleeps quietly all night in her crate.
Although Stella looks very much like a yellow lab, she is currently only 28 lbs. We expect when she is full grown, she will be approximately 40 lbs. Hence, she would fit well into a variety of home situations. She rarely barks so she is a good candidate for a townhome or apartment, provided she can get adequate exercise.
Stella has allot of energy and would love to join an active family on their adventures. Do you have time and space to welcome this little firecracker into your life? She will reward you with tons of wags and lots of love.

PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue. (Note: Sometimes a foster home falls in love and adopts their foster dog so the dog doesn’t make it to “Available Now”)
