Toby Black Labrador Retriever Male 8 Months Old ID#2911
Toby is an 8 mo. old black beauty who was surrendered because that tiny little puppy turned out to be bigger than anticipated, and the owners didn’t feel they had the space or ability to give him the exercise he needs. This sweet, friendly, goofy guy has started his journey at Canine Kamp, where he will brush up on some manners and be neutered before becoming available. Please read his blog from the bottom up.

Toby is doing really well at Canine Kamp. He was a bit nervous at first. Once he realized there was lots of fun to be had at Kamp, Toby became much more happy and relaxed. He has been really brushing up on his manners, and is improving with his jumping and play mouthing with the staff. In fact, he has been doing it recently at all. Toby is super friendly with all of the staff, and has been great at meeting new dogs. His newest friend is Brookline foster, Charlie! He seems to be having a great time playing with all the other dogs.
Potty training is going well, and he seems to be getting the hang of going outside. Toby is still working on his manners inside. He went for a visit to a staff member’s house, and decided he would try out every chair and couch, and even her husband’s lap! I guess Toby is not shy. Toby will also be getting neutered shortly. This handsome boy should be ready to find his new home very soon!

Toby has been loving life running around the huge fenced yards, and playing with other canine friends for the first time ever! He is settling into the routine, and will be working on things like leash skills, being crated and learning to greet new people with “4 on the floor”. His enthusiasm for life is contagious! Stay tuned for more updates.
