It’s time! I’m ready to find my furever home! Come meet me at The Pet Fest Event at Congregation Beth Or, 239 Welsh Road, Maple Glen PA which is scheduled for Sunday, April 16 from 12 pm to 2 pm. Tucker may only be there for part of the time so come early.

Hi everyone!Black labrador retriever

I’m fully recovered from my neuter surgery and am ready to start looking for my furever home. I enjoy playing at daycare now and have made some new friends.

I am working on walking nicely on leash (without pulling so much) and my trainer friend says any active family would be lucky to adopt me. I am a loyal Lab leaner: if you pet me, I’ll lean in for more love!

Please tell your friends about me. Now that the weather is getting nicer, I sure would enjoy being outside, romping in the sunshine instead of staying cooped up in a kennel.

Wags and wiggles,

Tucker

Hi! It’s me, Tucker! I was “fixed” last week (tho I don’t think anything was broken—I’m pretty perfect for a 1 year old Lab pup!) and am all healed up. Since then, my hormonal brain fog (that’s what the trainer called it) is dissipating and I am able to focus better. So, today I got to play in daycare. So much fun! I made a cute Kelpie friend who’s a rescue like me, and she’s teaching me how to play. Check out our video:

I’m learning how to walk more calmly on leash, too, and now I even lift my nose up to look around instead of sniffing non-stop.

Soon I’ll be ready for my furever home. For now, I’ll keep learning how to play appropriately with other pups and brush up on my skills.

Keep watching my blog!

Love, Tucker

Tucker is due to get neutered next Weds, 3/15. That was supposed to happen 2/24, but that morning he has a bout of nervous colitis and the vet decided to hold off on surgery that day to ensure nothing serious was going on (it wasn’t). When I picked Tucker up at the vet on 2/24, he rode back to the kennel with his chin on my shoulder (from the backseat). This pup just wants to be loved!

Tucker’s personality and temperament are textbook Labrador: Lovable, Loyal, Leaner!

Tucker is now at camp. They think he is wonderful, very sweet and trusting. But he lacks focus, so some training is in order. black labrador retriever
