Tyson, Black Labrador Retriever Male, 8 Years Old

May 13, 2018

Tyson is one smart cookie!  He has learned lots of commands, and especially enjoys playing ball!

Tyson would love a home where there is a fenced yard (whether physical or underground) so he can really stretch his legs.  He is reliably trained to an underground fence right now.  He gets along with dogs, cats and even chickens and ducks!  He definitely likes more rural settings.

Tyson is the dog who, when you are sad or upset, will come and lay his head on your lap to comfort you.  His owner describes him as a sensitive dog who is really attuned to his people.

Would you like to make Tyson your best pal?

Tyson is an 8 yr. old gorgeous black Lab who acts much younger than his
years. They had him DNA tested, and he is mostly Lab, but part Poodle and
part Chow (if that’s accurate). He is very people oriented, and just wants
to be close to his owners. He can be a bit anxious in new settings, and is
nervous at the vet’s office. He greets you with that loud Lab bark, but
once he checks you out, his tail never stops wagging. He would be fine as
an only dog, and may actually prefer it, though he does get along with dogs
and cats. However, my guess is that he would love to be the center of
attention and have his owner’s undivided attention. I also think he’d
prefer a quieter setting – not a busy home or neighborhood.
