Meet Winnie – a sweet, gentle, playful female Lab who needs a new place to hang her leash. Winnie’s owner passed away suddenly, and she is taking it pretty hard. This beautiful, petite young girl is fully housebroken and well-behaved in the house. She is trained to use a crate and is fine sleeping in her crate overnight. She has previously lived with other dogs but would be fine with or without other dogs in her new home. She has not been around cats, so we don’t know how that might work out. Winnie has had basic obedience training, and she has very good recall. She’s pretty good on a leash but would benefit from some additional leash training. Winnie is just finishing up a heat cycle, so she can’t be spayed for a few months. For that reason, we are offering her for adoption with a sterilization contract.
This girl is a real gem and will fit well into a variety of households.
