Zoey #12 Black Labrador Retriever Mix Female 11 Years Old ID#3415
Meet Zoey! Black beauty Zoey was surrendered to Brookline due to a change in the owner’s life circumstances and wasn’t able to give Zoey the time and exercise that she needed. Although Zoey is 11 years old, she looks and has the energy of a younger dog. Zoey loves to play fetch, go swimming, and is a wonderful hiking companion with great recall! She would love to go back to the days when she was taking long hikes with her owner.
Zoey has been well loved and is very smart – she knows both hand and verbal signals, as her hearing is declining a bit. She is very food motivated. Her favorite games are tug of war, and fetch. Zoey is a cuddle bug and is super affectionate She is good with low key dogs, and has lived with cats. Zoey loves the car and was a great side kick for a cross country trip with her previous owner.
Zoey does beautifully on leash with a Gentle Leader. She can be left for a full work day, though I’m sure she would prefer having her peeps around more. Zoey is a super snuggler, and would love being a lap dog. She is very loyal to her person and is always close by. Please read Zoey’s blog from the bottom up.

Zoey arrived to Kamp on June 2 and has been settling in very nicely.
Zoey is incredibly sweet and is getting used to the staff and the facility. She is very food and affection motivated.
She loved her first trip into the big yard and was exploring and rolling in the grass.
She loves her ball time too!
Zoey has been making some new furry friends here at Kamp. She has been great with the other dogs that she has met so far.
She especially enjoyed the pool party!
