National Pet Obesity Awareness Day

Labrador Retrievers are one of the most likely breeds to become overweight. They can be highly food motivated and many of them are genetically predisposed to not recognize when they are full, causing them to become obese.  Make sure you are using the feeding guide on your pet food bag appropriately, limit treats and table scraps, and of course, give your best friend lots of playtime and exercise to help keep them at a healthy weight!
