Memorial Bear

Black labrador retriever faceI’m sad to let you know that Bear, adopted in Jan, 2008 at age 8 1/2 by the Westfall/Neary family, passed away on Oct 7, 2013.

Bear was a loyal member of our family for almost 6 years and we loved him very much. We thank him for accepting us as his family so late in life and appreciate what a good sport he was learning to live in a big house when he was used to a small one, learning to have dog friends when he was so afraid of dogs to begin with, learning to be a boat dog loved by all on our dock, and being best friends with Sassafras, our cat. Sass and all of us miss you very much, Bear Bear. Rest in peace, old boy.

Thanks, Brookline, for bringing Bear into our lives.
