Hello BLRR,

Back in 1999 I worked with Nicole Soyster at the Penn State University animal diagnostic lab, at PSU’s main campus. During that time I fostered and very shortly thereafter adopted a black lab through Brookline. Her name at the time was Missy and then changed to Violet when I adopted her. In fact I still have a copy of the adoption paperwork.

She had been my best pal for the last 13 years and we’ve lived and traveled all over the country together. Unfortunately time caught up with her and we said goodby on Saturday (May, 2012). I just wanted to pass along this information as a thank you for all of the wonderful years and joy Violet brought to me and my family

If you are interested in adopting a Lab from Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, please visit our Web site, www.brooklinelabrescue.org, for more information on our adoption process. If you need additional information about the adoption process or whether you are in our coverage area, please send an e-mail to our Rescue at info@brooklinelabrescue.org

Even if you are not ready to adopt, you can still help us help our Labs!
