This year’s auction will use a new feature, AutoPay Bidding, to make the payment process easier for everyone.

With AutoPay Bidding, when you place your first bid, you will be asked to enter your payment information so checkout will happen automatically if you win. Instead of waiting for an invoice and paying manually, your card will be charged as soon as the auction ends. This means faster payments, fewer missed invoices, and a smoother experience for bidders.

Your card details are securely handled by Stripe and never stored on the auction’s servers—only an encrypted token is kept during that auction. The info is deleted once the auction closes. You’ll only be charged if you win, and you’ll get an email confirming your items and successful payment.

🛍️ Flexible bidding options include:

  • Proxy bidding: Set your max bid and let the system bid for you.
    • Example: If an item is at $10 and you set a proxy bid of $50, the system will bid incrementally on your behalf until someone bids over $50.
    • You’ll only pay what the system bids—never more than your max.
  • Extended bidding: Keeps the action going if bids come in right at the end!
