Benji #2 Chocolate Labrador Mix Male 1 Year Old #3506
Meet Benji! Benji is a sweet chocolate Labrador mix who was surrendered along with two other pack mates to ACCT Philly in early May. He was happy while his pack mates were there but he watched them get adopted out and he was sadly left behind. The shelter was a scary place for this young boy when his lost his friends but luckily Brookline was able to secure a foster home for him so that he will be able to find a new family to call his own as well. If there is a dog that defines loving it’s this guy. Benji is both a true lap dog when inside and a classic ball retriever when outside. Inside he is happiest when sitting right to this foster parents on the couch, accepting belly rubs whenever offered.Outside he is ready to run, waiting for the ball to be thrown so he can race to retrieve it – and after a few laps he drops the ball to do it all again.
He is also an amazing leash walker! Always ready and stays right by my side with no tugs. He learning commands right now and responds well to direction and rewards. He is going to make an amazing companion for a forever home family!

Benji is living his best life! 
He is on day 3 in foster care. Benji had to be surrendered when his owner died, but we were able to rescue him quickly and start him on his new life journey.Benji is a beautiful chocolate with some mix that gives him a tuxedo look! He is possibly the most affectionate dog we have met! He is a lap dog for sure and wants to be close to one of us all the time for rubs and scratches.He is an amazing leash walker! Always ready and stays right by my side with no tugs. He is going to make an amazing companion for a forever home family!
