Jett is a young, handsome boy who was found stray and was brought to a shelter in Philadelphia.  Staff believe he could be a pure bred Labrador but as it’s unknown, they listed him as mix.  His age is also unknown, but it is believed he is approximately 4 years old but he could be younger.  As this shelter does euthanize for space, time is of the essence!  To keep Jett safe, we need to move him out of the shelter quickly.

The staff at the shelter say he is quiet, friendly, sweet, curious, energetic and just a love bug.  According to the shelter, Jett is well behaved, very trainable and treat motivated.  He has been a very good boy according to the shelter staff who said the following: “Jett is such a big goofy fella who made me giggle the entire time I was with him. He’s such a big boy with an even bigger heart. He loves affection, treats and just spending time with you. He sits patiently while waiting for treats and takes them very nicely. I felt so bad having to put him back into his kennel after our walk because he got so sad. I really hope he gets scooped up soon!”Black Labrador RetrieverHe has been good with men and women at the shelter though a bit shy at first, but is unknown with children as no children visit.  The staff believes he would be good with all ages. Jett is reported to be good with other dogs in playgroup, but is unknown with cats.

He does pull on leash so he will need a foster or foster to adopt that is willing to do some leash training and basic manners and house training.

Jett is a young energetic boy who requires daily exercise to settle in the home.

He does need to be still need to be neutered but he will be UTD on shots before leaving the shelter.
