Meet Keia! 🐾  Keia is a 6 year old female lab/golden mix. She was surrendered by her owner due to family health issues and no fault of her own! She is a sweet, loving, and laid back dog. Keia is now in a Brookline foster home. Please read her blog from the bottom up!

My family and I have officially had our foster dog, Keia, for four days! Even though it has only been a few days, I have already started to notice her becoming more comfortable and showing more of her personality.Keia Labrador-Golden Retriever Mix Female 6 Years Old ID#3624When Keia first came to us, she was a little unsure of her new surroundings. She seemed nervous and needed some time to adjust to a new home and new people. As the days have gone by, I have watched her slowly begin to warm up to us. She seems happier and more relaxed each day, and it has been really exciting to see her start to come out of her shell.

Keia has also started her weight-loss journey. We are helping her work toward becoming healthier and more active while making sure she gets plenty of love and encouragement along the way. I am excited to watch her progress and see how she changes as she continues her journey.Keia Labrador-Golden Retriever Mix Female 6 Years Old ID#3624My favorite part so far has been seeing Keia become more comfortable with my family. It is amazing how much of a difference I can already see after only four days. I can’t wait to continue watching her become happier, healthier, and more confident as she settles into her foster home! 🐾❤️
