Kisses Chocolate Labrador Retriever Female 2.5 Years Old ID #3601

Kisses is doing great Her skin is looking better I don’t know if the hair on her ear will ever grow back but she’s beautiful without the hair!
She has discovered her reflection in the mirror and is so afraid of the little brown dog looking back at her! Something new to work on.
She has mastered “sit” and is working on stay and down She has stopped counter surfing but she did steal a slice of pizza off plate. She loved it! Kisses leash fear is improving. We got 2 houses down the block yesterday, she doing so much better
It’s amazing to watch her discover new things, toys are a big hit with her. I assume she’s never had any before. She is afraid of tennis balls Hopefully she will overcome that
She has settled into our house and routine very easily and it’s only been 2 weeks Her spay surgery is tomorrow and I’m hoping she has an easy time

Kisses had a great week. Her vet appointment brought good news-no allergies. She has 2 ear infections that she probably has had for months, which explains the infections and bald spots on her ears and face. She’s on a few antibiotics and creams and they are starting to clear up already.
It was quite a site to see her two vets carry her in and out on beach towels since she’s still really afraid of the leash. She’s conquered stairs and dog doors and sit and no. So, the leash is next. Just today. I got her out on the front lawn so we are on our way !
She is a very sweet and loving little girl. She’s eager to learn and is also very nosy! She checks everything and everyone out
Kisses and our Tess get along great so I’m guessing she’ll get along with other dogs.
Kisses sleeps through the night and is already potty trained.

Kisses got here Saturday night around 6:00 PM after a full day of travel.
She was pretty shut down. We carried her to the back yard. And took off the leash and she was a different dog. Running around the yard. Kissing us. It was great to see. She had a quiet day on Sunday. Met some new people and loved everyone. She was terrified of the stairs which is a problem since our house is raised. But today, she became a new dog again. She’s running up and down the stairs now. She is the sweetest little girl. Her health has been neglected so we are off to the vet tomorrow. She and our Tess are great friends already. Sharing bowls, it’s amazing to watch.
